I kinda love being challenged in my work, and when I was approached with the task of animating a curved screen for a runway show, I couldn't wait to get started. The goal was to create an optical illusion of depth from a specific point of view, inspired by those curved screens popular in Tokyo.

Figuring out how to render this illusion onto a flat image was an interesting problem. After some hours experimenting and then fine-tuning. I was ultimately able to create a working pipeline. Creating the different spaces within the illusion also was a lot of fun, and seeing the end result on the big screen was just amazing. We made around 16 different environments, and the forest scene shown below was my favorite. This one was part of the Tommy Hilfiger theme.
